Start with what goes inside, then describe how the contents should be accessed.
Inventory the contents
List the documents, cards and inserts that will travel together. Record their actual dimensions and identify any sleeve or divider that changes the usable space needed.
Describe whether the contents are a one-time handover or a collection that will be accessed repeatedly. This gives the review a concrete use scenario.
Sketch the access sequence
Map pockets or compartments and label what each should hold. Show the intended opening direction, labels and closure position.
Keep proposed presentation folders, wallets and organizers as comparison directions. Do not copy specifications between them without a separate review.
Prepare an acceptance checklist
Use the intended contents when checking access and fit. Note any difficult insertion, obscured label or closing interference against the agreed brief.
Keep the contents list, artwork and physical sample version together. Review packaging after the product arrangement is settled so that the pack refers to the same version.
A concise handover checklist
- The intended use and required contents.
- A named drawing, artwork or reference version.
- Confirmed inputs, preferences and unresolved questions shown separately.
- A review owner and a record of requested changes.
- Requested quantity, destination and timing for separate commercial review.
What this guide does not confirm
