Connect the stored item, sleeve and pocket layout without assuming protective claims.
Identify the complete stored item
Record the actual photograph or card dimensions. If it will be sleeved or placed in another holder, include that exact combination in the reference pack.
Describe viewing order, pocket orientation and whether pages should be fixed or replaceable. Treat the desired arrangement as a requirement to review.
Define the page and cover layout
Show pocket positions and opening direction. Include the intended item when reviewing usable pocket space and page access.
Record cover artwork, closure and any included inserts on the same version. Keep the photo and card project identities distinct even when both use the ALB navigation family.
Separate fit from evidence
A sample can be reviewed against agreed fit and handling requirements. Do not infer archival, acid-free, PVC-free or protective-performance claims from a transparent pocket or visual appearance.
List any material or preservation requirement separately and ask for applicable evidence before making a product claim. Keep unresolved items visible in the approval record.
A concise handover checklist
- The intended use and required contents.
- A named drawing, artwork or reference version.
- Confirmed inputs, preferences and unresolved questions shown separately.
- A review owner and a record of requested changes.
- Requested quantity, destination and timing for separate commercial review.
What this guide does not confirm
This editorial checklist does not establish AWG availability, materials, dimensions, MOQ, price, lead time, capacity or certifications. Product-specific facts and media permissions require their own evidence and approval. Review the final brief with the responsible parties before proceeding.
