In this guide
Describe the document, writing position and clip arrangement as a complete assembly.
Describe the task
Record the document size and how the product will be held or placed during writing. Include the intended contents in the reference pack.
Decide whether the brief calls for a flat or folding direction, and list any storage or carrying constraints for review.
Locate the components
Show clip position and fixing details on the same drawing as the board or cover. Add artwork and pocket positions where relevant.
For a folding direction, show the open and closed layouts. Mark any uncertain clearances instead of estimating them from a picture.
Record the sample observations
Check document access, clip operation and writing access against requirements agreed for the project. Record observations and unresolved questions.
If a performance or regulated-use requirement exists, ask the responsible reviewer to define the evidence needed. Appearance alone cannot confirm holding force, durability or suitability.
A concise handover checklist
- The intended use and required contents.
- A named drawing, artwork or reference version.
- Confirmed inputs, preferences and unresolved questions shown separately.
- A review owner and a record of requested changes.
- Requested quantity, destination and timing for separate commercial review.
What this guide does not confirm
This editorial checklist does not establish AWG availability, materials, dimensions, MOQ, price, lead time, capacity or certifications. Product-specific facts and media permissions require their own evidence and approval. Review the final brief with the responsible parties before proceeding.
