In this guide
Resolve page sequence, writing layout and approval responsibility before a physical review.
Define the writing task
Describe who will use the book and what each section should help them record. List the required writing area, section order and preferred finished format.
Identify which inputs are essential and which are preferences. Keep page count, paper and binding choices open until they are reviewed for the project.
Create an artwork review pack
Name each artwork version and assign a reviewer. For dated layouts, include a deliberate check of dates, day names, language and sequence.
Record the location of page numbers, navigation labels and repeated elements. Include a complete page sequence rather than isolated attractive spreads.
Connect artwork to the sample
Review page direction, order and opening behavior on the proposed assembly. Record requested corrections with the page and version they refer to.
Keep print appearance and physical construction as separate review decisions. An approved digital layout does not establish paper composition or a manufacturing capability.
A concise handover checklist
- The intended use and required contents.
- A named drawing, artwork or reference version.
- Confirmed inputs, preferences and unresolved questions shown separately.
- A review owner and a record of requested changes.
- Requested quantity, destination and timing for separate commercial review.
What this guide does not confirm
This editorial checklist does not establish AWG availability, materials, dimensions, MOQ, price, lead time, capacity or certifications. Product-specific facts and media permissions require their own evidence and approval. Review the final brief with the responsible parties before proceeding.
