Identify the exact sample

Record the sample ID, engineering version and applicable drawing or specification. A sample approval should identify what was reviewed and which changes, if any, remain open.

Inspect the product as an assembly

  • Check overall and usable internal dimensions against the agreed reference.
  • Review ring or clip type, count, position, fixing and opening behavior.
  • Compare pocket count, closure, seams, edges and included accessories.
  • Check artwork size, position and the applicable color or finish reference.
  • Compare unit packing, labels and protection with the agreed brief.

Build a useful visual record

Capture the front, opened product, side, mechanism, interior and a size reference where applicable. Additional back, closure, logo and packaging views can clarify details that a single hero photograph cannot show.

Keep visual evidence separate from claims

An AI-generated scene cannot prove product construction or dimensions. Likewise, appearance alone cannot establish a material grade or compliance claim. Record the relevant test, drawing, material or approval evidence for each claim.

Close the review

Record discrepancies, the required action and the version that will be reviewed next. Do not label an unresolved sample as fully approved.
